Alberto Artamendi joined Uría Menéndez in February 2014 and was made senior associate in January 2021.
He is a versatile lawyer with experience advising national and international clients on Spanish direct and indirect tax matters, as well as on the planning and implementation of national and cross-border restructurings. He also has extensive experience in tax proceedings and tax audits. He advises HNWIs on fulfilling their tax obligations, particularly as regards net wealth tax and gift and inheritance tax, and more recently he has worked on transfer pricing matters as well.
Alberto combines his client work with teaching at ESADE and the Universidad Abat Oliba, where he is a lecturer on both International tax law and general tax law. This combination of theory and practice is reflected in his advice, which combines technical precision with a practical approach to resolving clients’ problems.
